Hi @jolene278
As for this page, it is hardly readable indeed. Just try your best guess. Here is the list of some contributors you can use when unsure: http://talk.sciencegossip.org/#/boards/BSC0000005/discussions/DSC00002qb It doesn't include them all, but can help sometimes 😃
In general, you can display the original resolution scan (with all the previous/following pages) during the classification when the name is too small to be read - just click on the 2nd icon from the left in the top of the classification menu (just next to the magnifier). From the Talk, you can follow the link which appears below the thumbnail to see the full resolution too. For this page it is here.
Cheers,
Zuzi

Hmm, that's a tough one as it is pretty blurred under zoom. My best guess would be Alex & Ferguson Lith (i.e. Lithographers). Unfortunately that name doesn't come up in our list of contributors
http://talk.sciencegossip.org/#/boards/BSC0000005/discussions/DSC00002qb
or the database of scientific illustrators
http://www.uni-stuttgart.de/hi/gnt/dsi2/index.php?function=show_static_page&id_static_page=1&table_name=dsiSometimes it is just good guesswork.

I think this could be Allan and Ferguson, lithographers and engravers from Glasgow (mentioned here) If so I'll add them to the contributor list.

That sounds like the most likely jules. Good detective work!
