whoever this is blithely writes (re the Calumet Eagle) - It would appear that they are very rare, as I never saw any but the one I killed. Then goes on to say it was old, having been shot.............upon the summit of one of the mountains...

Oh dear - conservation clearly wasn't a priority in Victorian times. If you click on the page icon on the classification page this takes you to the original document - and page 213. 😉

I'm sorry, you actually cannot get back to classify the same page once you have finished the classification. But you can get to the periodicals which includes the page or look at the page on the Talk. If you just want to get back to classify any page and can't figure out how, go to the top right corner of this page and click on the blue button Return to classifying or use the project page www.sciencegossip.org
