  I feel there is a lot more to say about this chart, but I haven't really worked out what it's all about. Descriptions of coins, with names, and values. Somebody?

  There's more here about trade tokens. They were apparently issued when low denomination coins were in short supply. It was a system that relied on traders knowing each other and honouring payments. The text describes what appeared on the tokens.

  Aged 75 y.o. here - the Co-op my mother went to in Scotlanad used to have its own coins 65+ years ago, sort of thick coloured plastic like this: ah, can't download pix! Google "Co-op tokens" and you'll see dozens
